Judicial Philosophy

“Everyone deserves fair treatment in the courts regardless of their race, age, religion, or sexual orientation. Parties who are not represented or have inexperienced counsel may not be completely aware of what is happening.  I believe that part of fairness is understanding both the process and the outcome. I will strive to make rulings that are reasonable, equitable, and clearly understood.  My goal is to make everyone believe that they had a fair chance to present their case before an unbiased judge even if they disagree with the outcome.”
